ALBION — CONSTRUCTION: The Presbyterian Road bridge over the Erie Canal in the Albion/Gaines area will be closed to traffic for two months while structural steel repairs are made to the bridge, according to the New York state Department of Transportation. It is expected to re-open April 1. While no detour has been posted, the Knowlesville Road bridge, which is to the west of the Presbyterian Road bridge and is currently reduce to one-lane, and the Allens Road/Eagle Harbor Road bridge, which is to the east, may be used.
