Medina Journal-Register — RIDGEWAY — Three men were charged with multiple drug offenses Thursday after the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force and Orleans County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant was executed at a Horan Road residence.
Jacob J. Callara, 50, 3642 Horan Road, Apartment 2; Alejandro R. Martinez, 46, 3642 Horan Road, Apartment 1; and Bruce W. Harrold, 49, 10 Garland St., Lyndonville were all charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a Class D felony, and unlawfully growing the plant known as cannabis, a Class A misdemeanor. Further arrests and charges are pending.
The arrests came following a monthlong investigation into the sale, distribution and growing of marijuana in the Medina area, which OCMFCTF Supervising Investigator Joseph Sacco said was ongoing.
According to the report, police seized an indoor marijuana growing operation that included more than 300 plants.
They also seized more than a pound of dried marijuana, a .22 calibre rifle, scales, packaging, indoor grow equipment and other drug paraphernalia.
Callara, Martinez and Harrold were arraigned in Town of Ridgeway Court, where Judge Lawrence Sanderson committed to the County Jail. The three men are scheduled to appear Tuesday in Town of Ridgeway Court.
