WELFARE FRAUD: Stacey A. Kimmerly, 38, Medina was charged Thursday with third-degree grand larceny, a Class D Felony; third-degree welfare fraud, a Class D Felony; first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, a Class E Felony; and misuse of food stamps, a Class E Felony.

WEAPONS: Salvator P. Scarlata, 29, Brockport, and Mitchell D. Hamlin, 21, Rochester were charged Friday with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property — firearms, a Class E Felony; third-degree criminal possession of a weapon — ammo clip, a Class C Felony; second-degree criminal possession of a weapon — loaded firearm a Class C Felony; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument. Hamlin was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
