Town of Shelby

DWI: Earl D. Anderson, 58, Medina was charged Sunday with felony driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and unsafe lane change. According to the report, Anderson was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputy J.J. Cole following single-car crash shortly after 5 p.m. in the 11100 block of Dunlop Road in the Town of Shelby. Anderson, the vehicle’s sole occupant, was operating a westbound ‘90 Chevrolet 4-door sedan on Dunlop when he lost control and ran off north side of roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert pipe and several small trees. Anderson was treated and released at Medina Memorial Hospital before appearing before Shelby Town Justice Dawn Keppler, who set his bail at $250. Anderson was processed at County Jail and released on bail. Additional charges are pending blood test results for Anderson, who is scheduled to appear Jan. 10 in Town of Shelby Court.

Town of Murray

DWI: Carrie L. Riley, 30, Albion was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 of one percent and a pair of traffic violations. According to the report, Riley was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputy D.E. Foeller Jr. following traffic stop shortly before 3 a.m. on State Route 31 in the Town of Murray.  Riley was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear Thursday in Town of Murray Court.
