Medina Journal-Register — Albion woman dies following crash
The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office reports that an Albion woman died Tuesday following a one-car crash in the Town of Barre.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, Jacqueline A. Dingle, 60, the sole-occupant of a westbound vehicle suffered a medical issue that led to a crash off of Maple Street near Route 98. Her vehicle crossed the center line, ran off the south side of the road and sheared off a fire hydrant.
Dingle was transported to Medina Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at approximately 6:30 p.m. The deceased was transported to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office for investigation.
The incident was investigated by Sheriff’s Deputy T.N. Tolley, assisted by Lieutenant R.E. Perry.
