LYNDONVILLE SCHOOLS: Teacher's nude photos taken by students
Lyndonville school officials sent a letter to parents this week detailing the theft a teacher’s private, self-posing pornographic pictures from her cell phone by students at the high school.
According to Greater Niagara Newspapers partner WKBW-7 News who broke the story Wednesday night, the photos were stored on a female teacher’s cell phone, which she lent to a student to use. The student found them and sent to other students. It is not known how far the photos have gotten or how many students have seen them, though two students have been suspended from school in the incident, 7 News reported.
The letter, according to WKBW, asked parents of Lyndonville High School students to see whether or not their children had the photos and, if they did, it asked that they be deleted.
The teacher is still at work, according to the report. The Orleans County Sheriff’s department has been asked to investigate the matter.
Lyndonville district officials couldn’t be reached by Greater Niagara Newspapers late Wednesday, but a district spokeswoman told a 7 News reporter that the district wouldn’t be releasing the names of the teacher or students involved, or any other information because of the “private” nature of the situation.

District confirms leave of absence
