MEDINA — A vehicle hit the side of the Medina McDonald’s on Route 31 Tuesday afternoon, resulting in minor damage to the building.
The driver, Bruce Baube, 52, Batavia, was transported to Medina Memorial Hospital by emergency responders for minor injuries.
According to the Medina Police Department, Baube was operating a ’99 GMC Ram that is equipped with hand controls. Baube said he accidentally hit the gas hand pedal instead of the brakes.
The vehicle itself was extensively damaged.
The incident is still under investigation by the Medina Police Department.
