LYNDONVILLE — Members of the Lyndonville Village Board will vote Monday on a budget proposal that holds the line on taxes and fees.
“For the second year in a row, we will not be raising taxes, water or sewer rates,” said Mayor Marc Scarr.
The tax rate will remain at $9.70 per $1,000; the water rate will be $6.95; and the sewer rate $4.75.
Scarr said he was pleased with the spending plan.
“I don’t anticipate any problems with it,” he added. “Nothing’s changed, and (I feel) it’s a real good budget.”
Village board members have all been mailed a copy of the budget. The board meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Monday in the village hall.
