MEDINA — A Medina teen accepted a plea deal Monday admitting guilt in charges that he sexually abused two juvenile victims in Lockport.

Ritchard P. Baldwin, 19, 106 Manilla Place, was charged last October with two counts of first-degree sexual assault, Class D felonies.

Niagara County Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth R. Donatello said the defendant was accused of sexually abusing a female victim, now 9, in the summer of 2007, and a male victim, now 8, a year later. Both victims are family members of Baldwin.

Baldwin was previously convicted in 2007 on sexual abuse and sentenced to probation.

Lockport Police Detective Travis Mapes said the defendant admitted to his probation officer in October that he had sexually abused two more victims after his conviction.

Judge Matthew J. Murphy III said Baldwin could face up to 14 years in state prison — seven years for each count — and 10 years post-release supervision.

Baldwin was released from Niagara County Jail on his own recognizance and ordered to continue to follow his terms of probation.

The defendant is scheduled for sentencing 1:30 p.m. June 1.
