Carlton

• BURGLARY: Edward G. Ruckdeschel, 47, 1016 Point Breeze Road, Kent, was charged Sunday with five counts of third-degree burglary, three counts of third-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and five counts of third-degree criminal trespass. Sgt. Dean Covis and Deputy James Halstead filed the charges after a complaint at Lake Breeze Marina on Point Breeze Road in the Town of Carlton. Several storage buildings were found to have been broken into and property from the marina and boats in storage had been removed. Many items were recovered, but an inventory of items taken from the boats will not be completed until the owners can check their boats. Ruckdeschel was arraigned in Carlton Town Court, but due to his extremely long criminal history he was remanded to Orleans Count Jail without bail, according to reports.

On Tuesday, Ruckdeschel was arrested on additional charges of third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal trespass and trespass. Halstead and Covis developed the additional charges when it was discovered storage units and campers at the Four C’s Marina were entered, according to the police report.

Albion

• LARCENY: Kevin L. White, 18, 108 Day St., Albion, was charged Monday with petit larceny. Deputy Erin Fuller arrested White on a warrant for the Jan. 6 larceny of items from Walmart. White was arraigned in Albion Town Court, where he was remanded to Orleans County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Kendall

• CHARGED: Samuel Mattison, 18, 1796 Kendall Road, Kendall, and Matthew R. Fisher, 18, 16604 Carr Road, Kendall, were charged Monday with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. Investigator Corey Black charged the pair as a result of an investigation into the break-in at C&J; Auto Service on Kenmore Road that was reported on Jan. 24. The pair were arraigned in Kendall Town Court and released on house arrest until their next scheduled court date of March 1.
