Medina Journal-Register — Over a dozen Orleans players have earned first team honors on the annual Genesee Region League boys and girls All-Star soccer squads.
The Kendall girls have placed a trio of players including junior midfiel/forward Nicole Browe, senior midfield forward Ashley Makowski and senior defender Abby David.
Browe scored 19 goals and added 12 assists this season for the Eagles. Makowski netted 13 goals and had seven assists and David a goal and five assists.
Holley also had three first team honorees including senior defender/midfielder Rachel Oliver, senior defender Brenna DeFelice and junior goalie Nicole Blackburn.
Lyndonville is represented on the first team by senior defender Hailey Anderson.
Kendall also had three honorable mention picks including senior midfield/forward Kendra LoSapio, senior defender Megan Welling and sophomore defender Kristin Jacob while Holley is represented by junior defender Claudia Passarell. LoSapio had 10 goals and eight assists.
The Holley boys had a quartet of first team G-R All-Stars including senior midfield/forwards Will Barniak and Sam Beadle, senior defender Jake Bower and sophomore forward Gabriel Mendoza.
Barniak had eight gals and nine assists, Beadle eight goals and for assists and Mendoza 10 goals and four assists.
Kendall is represented by the duo of senior midfield/forward Zach Stedman and sophomore forward Deandre Nauden. Stedman had five goals and two assists and Nauden a goal and an assist.
