Medina, Wilson battle to OT tie

Medina Journal-Register — Medina and Wilson battled to a 1-1 overtime tie Tuesday at Vets Park in the Niagara-Orleans League field hockey season finale.

Michelle Myers scored at the 24 minute mark of the second half and Medina pulled even on a tally by Dominique Hughes with six minute to go in regulation time.

Medina finishes the league campaign at 0-9-3 and Wilson at 1-10-1.

Barker wrapped up a near perfect 11-0-1 N-O championship season with a 2-0 victory at Roy-Hart.

Gabby Clare scored both goals for Barker in the second half. The first tally was set up by Kyla Moeller and McKenzie Strickland and the second by Heather Mason.

Roy-Hart finishes the league season at 7-5.

The Akron (7-4) and Kenmore (9-1-1) game was postponed until today.
