Albion spiker is second team All-WNY honoree

Medina Journal-Register — Albion High senior Cady Messmer has been named to the second team of the All-Western New York volleyball squad.

Messmer, who also earned All-WNY honors last year, had 283 spiking kills, 174 digs, 62 service aces, 28 assists and 18 blocks this past season.

Albion senior Eboni Taylor also earned honorable mention on the All-WNY squad. She had 121 kills, 61 blocks and 41 aces this past season.

Medina’ senior Abby Button earned honorable mention. She had 101 kills 24 blocks and 40 aces this past season.

Wilson’s Lindsay Bryer earned first team All-WNY honors and her teammate Jordan Glosser was a second tram honoree.

Roy-Hart’s Eliza Schwab earned second team honors and and Akron’s Sada Logan received honorable mention.
