Medina Journal-Register — Two Orleans players, Holley’s Kyle Bell and Kendall’s Dan Kelly, both seniors, have been named to the Genesee Region League All-Star basketball squad.
Kelly averaged 12 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 steals during the season as he helped lead Kendall in the Section V Class C-3 finals.
Bell averaged 13 points and five assists per game for Holley.
Holley’s Will Barniak and Kendall’s Jonah Dalcin, both seniors, received G-R All-Star honorable mention as did Lyndonville senior Austin Bane.
Barniak averaged 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Hawks.
Dalcin averaged 6.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and had 37 blocks for the Eagles.
Bane averaged 12 points for the Tigers.
Several local players have also earned honorable mention on the G-R girls basketball all-star squad including Lyndonville seniors Sierra VanWycke and Haley Anderson and Kendall senior Ashley Makowski.
