MIDDLEPORT — The 21st annual Mr. Ed’s Super Bowl Warm-up Race will be held on Feb. 7.
Festivities for the event, which annually attracts several hundred runners from around Western New York and Canada, will include a 5K walk at 10:30 a.m., a one- mile Fun Run at 11 a.m. and the 5K race at 11:30 a.m.
The race and walk will start and finish at the Middleport lift bridge and includes a stretch on the canal towpath.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Middleport Fire Hall.
The race, which is sponsored by Mr. Ed’s Athletic Club, benefits the Middleport Volunteer Fire Company’s scholarship fund. For more information on the event call 585-798-3283 or for a race application or to register online go to score-this.com.
