MEDINA —
On December 18, 2012, Joseph Leo Tillinghast passed away. He was born on June 14,1965 to Edgar and Martha L. (Coombes) Tillinghast in Buffalo, NY.
Joseph was a resident of Medina, NY, and a very artistic person. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved music and was always playing the guitar. He was a painter by trade as well as a landscaper.
Joseph left behind many people who loved him dearly, Kimberly Tillinghast, his wife of 15 years; his step-children, Dianna Perez and Justin Lyew; his grandson, Nicholas Rafael Pye; Joseph's father, Edgar "Cowboy Ed" Tillinghast; Joseph's sisters, Tammy Atwell, Joanne (Dennis) Florek, Terri Tillinghast, Dawn (Brian) Stachewicz, Edith Pagono and his brothers Phil (Becky) Tillinghast and Ed (Cathy) Tillinghast. He also left behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles who also loved him. He was predeceased by his mother on June 11, 2010.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at St. Mary's Church in Medina at 11 AM on Saturday, January 5th. The Rev. Daniel J. Fawls will officiate. After the ceremony a lunch will follow. Arrangements were completed by the Cooper Funeral Home, Medina.
