Marcia A. Kenyon

LYNDONVILLE —  

Marcia A. Kenyon, 73, of Lyndonville, entered into rest on Monday night, February 11, 2013 at the Martin-Linsin Residence, Albion. Born on October 21, 1939 in Medina, Marcia was the daughter of the late Fred and Vinona (Bergeman) Voelker.
She was a graduate of Lyndonville High School, Class of 1957. On September 10, 1960 she married Paul F. Kenyon. Marcia had been employed by Birds Eye Foods, the Lyndonville School District, Monroe Electric and the Lyndonville Canning Co.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Paul F. Kenyon of Lyndonville; daughter, Karen Sarma of Brockport; son, Stuart Kenyon of Kent; grandchildren, Ashleigh (Jon) Deskins of Clarendon, Paula (Joshua) Merrill of Hilton, Timothy Sarma of Brockport and Ryan Westfall of Medina; sister in-law, Linda (Dick) Fisk of Lyndonville; brother in-law, Richard (Virginia) Kenyon of Ozark, Alabama; several nieces and nephews, including Bonnie Tarajos of Lockport. Besides her parents, Marcia was predeceased by brothers, Leland and Raymond Voelker; and her sisters, Bernice Balschmiter and Loretta Atwater.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday from 1-3 PM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her memorial service will immediately follow at 3 PM. The Rev. Clarence Elliott will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, PO Box 489, Albion, NY 14411 or to the American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228.
