Dale L. "Boobie" Baubie

MEDINA — Dale L. "Boobie" Baubie, 64, of Medina, NY, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2010 at the Medina Memorial Hospital. Born on November 13, 1947 in Batavia, NY, he was the son of the late Stanley L. and Clara T. (Thompson) Baubie.

Dale was employed with Travel Center of America Truck Stop in Pembroke, NY, for or 14 years and at one time worked at the Country Club Restaurant, Medina and also was a auto mechanic at Rick and Ron's Auto, Medina. Dale was an active member of the Medina Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lincoln Post #1483 Men's Auxiliary. He enjoyed model cars and was known for his kindness and humor.

Dale is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Michael) Clark; and granddaughter, Annalee Clark of Waterport; and a brother, Ronald Baubie of Medina; and several cousins and close friends.

Relatives and friends may call from 6-8 PM on Friday, February 10, 2010 at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Kim Smith officiating and burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Medina. Memorials may be made in Dale's name to Lincoln Post #1483 V.F.W., 216 E. Center St., Medina, NY 14103.
