WINSTON-SALEM, NC —
Mrs. Lois Owens Donahue, 88, of Winston-Salem, NC, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
She was born September 8, 1924 in Medina, NY, the daughter of the late John James and Lorena Lindke Owens. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Earl William "Bill" Donahue; and a brother, Walter Owens. She was a loving mother of five.
Survivors include her children, Sandra Beechler (Daryl), Cheryl Dawson (Gerald), Michael Donahue, Terri Bennett (Paul), all of Winston-Salem, NC; and Patricia Donahue of Rochester, NY; several grand and great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted in Winston-Salem. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
