Darrin J. "Captain" Tabor

LOCKPORT —  

Darrin J. "Captain" Tabor, 46, of Lockport, NY, formerly of Medina, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Lockport Memorial Hospital. Born on May 30, 1966, in Medina, NY, he was the son of Dianne (John Crossley) Brown, Glennis "Doll" Chinn and the late Annie Hammonds and the late Rufus Harper.
Darrin graduated from Medina High School in 1984. He worked various jobs including; D.J. IROC & D.J. Scissorhands and lastly, driving cab for Timkey Cab Co. He loved everyone and everyone loved him.
Besides his Moms, he is survived by four sons, Mike, John, Stephon, and Devin Tabor, all of Lockport. Four siblings, Daniel (Jonna) Brown, Sr., Jermaine A. Brown, Olivia and Devorah Crossley, all of Medina. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday, February 4, 2013, from 11 AM-1 PM at the Glad Tidings Baptist Church, 404 W. Oak Orchard St. Medina, NY, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Pastor, Rev. Lambert Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the Boxwood Cemetery. Arrangements were made through the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, Medina.
