Robert W. Hatch

BARRE — Robert W. Hatch, age 63, died on September 29, 2012 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 20, 1948 in Albion a son of the late Winton and Nina (Hollenbeck) Hatch.

He was a life member of the Gaines Congregational United Church of Christ and was a former employee of Owens Illinois and Genesee Brewery. Bob enjoyed tinkering and fixing things for other people and was known as "Mr. Fix It."

He was predeceased by his brother, Terry. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Laurene Laurie; daughters, Teresa (Daniel) Heuer of Michigan, Patricia (Douglas) Burdick of Middleport; grandchildren, Nicholas, Ashley, Tyler, Kristina; brother, R. Daniel (Lin Paul) Hatch of Georgia; sisters, Judy (Donald) Garrett of Albion, Alice (George) Irvine of Clayton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 W. Avenue, Albion, Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 PM. Bobs Memorial Service will be held at the Gaines Congregational United Church of Christ, 14023 Ridge Rd., Albion, NY 14411, Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the church or Lakeside Memorial Hospital.
