Gregory P. Kwiatkowski

MIDDLEPORT — Gregory P. Kwiatkowski, of Middleport, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Mr. Kwiatkowski was born in Medina, on June 11, 1957, a son of the late Chester and Irene (Karmazyn) Kwiatkowski.

Following high school, Greg served with the New York National Guard and was employed by Eastman Kodak Company from 1988-2003 and then moved to Bowling Green where he was employed by Luvata, Inc., in Franklin, KY. He loved to golf, garden and especially enjoyed home remodeling. His family was his first priority and he loved spending time with his wife, daughters and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn (Knoop); two daughters, Melissa (Carlos) Williams and Rebecca (Joshua) Sanders; four grandchildren, Carlos Williams, Mashiah Williams, Cameron  Williams and Liana Williams; brother of Richard (Terry), Carolyn Ryan, Chester (Rindy), Jerome (Sandra) and Michelle Kwiatkowski and Anthony (Dawn) Kwiatkowski; three Godsons, Marcus Fisher, Brayden and Bradley Litchfield; brother-in-law of Kathy (Gary) Mullin, Robert (Margaret) Knoop, Theresa Kirkpatrick,  David (Laurene) Knoop and Mary Beth (David) Litchfield; several nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends. He was predeceased by his son, Daniel J. on April 16, 2007; two brothers, Robert in 1972 and Brian T. on March 25, 2008; and his nephew, Brennan  S., on March 23, 2008.

Friends were received on Sunday at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. The Rev. Joseph Fifagrowicz and Rev Daniel J. Fawls will concelebrate his Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish/St. Marys Church and interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Orleans Community Health Foundation, 200 Ohio St., Medina, NY 14103 designated for the Medina Renal Dialysis Unit.
