ALBION —
Chauncey G. Miller, age 85, died on January 17, 2013 at Medina Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was born on April 17, 1927, a son of the late Irvin and Grace (Coe) Miller.
Chauncey served in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was a former employee of T.J. Lipton and Eastman Kodak Co. Chauncey enjoyed working with wood and had built several pieces of furniture for family and friends. He also enjoyed playing guitar and participating in any activity outdoors.
He was predeceased by his wife Esther in 2010. He is survived by his children, Daniel (Teri Gibson) Miller, Darlene (Jim) Maier, Cindy (Lee) Brown all of Albion; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 W. Avenue, Albion, on Tuesday, January 22nd from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, where his Funeral Service will follow. Interment will be in Transit Cemetery with full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion NY 14411.
