Harold J. Robb, 78, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 at his home. He was born in Hamlin, NY, the son of Edgar and Nina Robb and has been a lifetime resident of the area.
He was a Truck Driver for Eastman Kodak until retirement and then went to drive for Lynette & Sons Farm Harold was a longtime member of the Palmyra Moose Lodge #1420, enjoyed hunting, and riding his 4-wheeler. He was known as "Mr. Fixit", for his love of working on cars and anything mechanical.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ileane (Bailey); three daughters, Terry (David) Wolfe of Hamlin, Ileane Malachowski (Timothy) of Lyndonville, Joyce Robb-Arvai of Albion; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Staples of Florida; brother, Frank (Sue) Robb of Brockport; sister-in-law, Lynn Robb of Kendall; many nieces, nephews, friends; and his buddy, Charlie. He was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Autumn Lynn; and brothers, George, Theodore and Howard.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 12-2 PM at the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home, 39 Geddes St., Holley, where services will immediately follow. Interment will be in Sandy Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made the Morton Fire Dept.
