Nettie Onnalee Wienke

WEST SHELBY —  

Nettie Onnalee Wienke, originally of West Shelby, died on December 26, 2012, at the age of 102. She was born on December 1, 1910 to Burt and Mabel (Pickett) Dunlap, and died at her daughter's home in Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Elmer Carl Wienke. They lived on the Salt Works Rd. for over 50 years, then retired to New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Also deceased are her foster daughters, Audry (Lowe) Collins of San Diego, CA; Roberta (Lowe) Lowery of Medina, NY;  Shirley (Lowe) Yaskivich of Wilson, NY, and an adopted son, Donald R. Wienke of New Smyrna Beach, FL. Dozens of      foster care children called Onnalee and Elmer their first parents.
Onnalee is survived by two daughters, Paulette (Lee) Albright of Montebello, VA, and Dianne Powley of Kissimmee, FL.
