MEDINA —
Donna M. Flynn, 80, of Medina, NY, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Medina Memorial Hospital, with her loving family at her side. Born on May 4, 1932, in Piercefield, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Thelma (Thomson) Debiaw.
Donna graduated from Medina High School in 1950. She married Ernest D. Flynn on February 20, 1954, together making their home in Medina and raising four children. She worked in data entry with the former Harrison Radiator Co. for 25 years. She was a active member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Lyndonville, serving as a Trustee. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Western NY, Busy-Buddies, and the Crusaders Motorcycle Club. In her spare-time she enjoyed puzzles, ceramics and baking.
Donna is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ernest, four children, Connie (Michael) LaDue of Brockport, NY, Becky (Glen) Myers of Hilton, NY, Larry and Todd Flynn, both of Medina; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Meagan, Mallory, Nicole, Casey, Christopher, Parker, Jeremy; four great-grandchildren, Bailey, Mason, Nathan and Julian; a sister, Beverly St. Cyr of Marion, NY; also several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sisters, Helen and Shirley.
Relatives may call on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina, NY. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 107 N. Main St., Lyndonville, NY 14098, with the Pastor, Rev. Catherine Benjamin officiating. Burial will be in the Lynhaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Donna's name to the First Presbyterian Church.
